This policy explains what personal information Ancient Gold Remedy (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit this website or place an order, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- When you order: your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number (if you provide one) and what you ordered.
- When you pay: payment is by Interac e-Transfer, sent from your own bank. We see only what your bank shares with every e-Transfer: the sender’s name, email or phone number, the amount and the message.
- When you contact us: your name, email address, order number (if you include it) and your message.
- When you subscribe to our emails: your email address.
What we never collect: credit card numbers, bank login details or any other banking credentials. There is no card payment form on this website.
How we use it
Only to process and ship your order, confirm your payment, answer your questions, honour our guarantee, and, if you subscribed, send you occasional emails. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click, or by writing to us.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal information. We share only what is needed to complete your order:
- our shipping carrier (your name and address, to deliver your package);
- our website host, which stores order records on our behalf;
- our email service, only if you subscribe to our emails.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies it needs to work: one that keeps your cart between pages, one that remembers your language (English or French), and one that stops the welcome offer from appearing again once you’ve seen or used it. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t run analytics that follow you across other websites.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as Canadian tax law requires (currently six years), then delete them. Contact-form messages and email-list addresses are deleted when you ask us to.
How we protect it
The website is served over an encrypted connection, and access to order records is limited to the people who fulfil your order.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted (except where we must keep it by law). Email agremedy@proton.me and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
